Ah yes, Waters at his most cynical.

More fun from the pit.

Is this what you find evil?

"The Lord is my shepard
I shall not want,
He makes me down to lie,
through pastures green,
He leadeth me the silent waters by,
With bright knives,
He Releaseth my soul,
He maketh me to hang hooks in high places,
He Converth me to lamb cutlets,
For lo he hath great power and great hunger,
When cometh the day we lowly ones
Through quiet reflection,
And Great Dedication,
Master the art of Karate,
Lo we shall rise up,
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water."

This is much nicer. I chose this version because you get to hear Waters yell at the fans to sit down. He sure had his moments.

Well the lyrics aren't headed to Fun Town, but it's the music that matters. I didn't even know almost all the words to these songs before today (Darn English accents). The lyrics are O.K.. The music creates the space.

Very true, no golden road to Fun Town found in any Animals lyrics, particularly that Psalm passage from Sheep. Captivating music though. Brilliant IMHO. Im a pre DSOTM fan. Much happier and positive music for the most part. Those accents are sure hard to work out sometimes for sure.
